Privacy Notice
Status: 15 September 2026
Service-provider details pending. This notice describes how the Noshlog website handles personal data. The specific service providers used (web hosting, e-mail delivery, and any backup or analytics services) are being finalised; the affected sections are marked "to be confirmed" and will be updated.
1. Responsible party (controller)
Marcus Friedlaender, c/o Block Services, Stuttgarter Str. 106, 70736 Fellbach, Germany.
E-mail: legal@wordit.com
Legal notice (imprint): /legal/imprint.php
2. Overview of processing
We process personal data only to the extent needed to operate the Noshlog website and its associated app services. Types of data: account data (e-mail address), contact data, content data, and usage data (server log files). Affected persons: registered users and visitors of the website.
Purposes: providing the website and its features, security measures, handling enquiries, and improving the service.
3. Legal bases
We process personal data on the following bases of the GDPR: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), performance of a contract and pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b)), and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)), in particular for the security and operation of the website.
This notice also informs data subjects in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (Swiss DSG). For readability and broader applicability we use the terminology of the GDPR; within the scope of the Swiss DSG the legal meaning of the terms continues to follow the Swiss DSG.
4. Security measures
We take technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including TLS/SSL encryption (HTTPS) for data transmitted to and from the website, access controls on our infrastructure, and procedures for exercising data-subject rights and for the deletion of data.
5. Transmission of personal data
Where data is transmitted to third parties or processors, we observe the legal requirements and, in particular, conclude appropriate agreements to protect your data. Provider-specific details are to be confirmed and will be added here.
6. Deletion of data
Data we process is deleted or anonymised as soon as the purpose for processing it no longer applies, subject to legal retention obligations (for example commercial or tax retention rules). Where data cannot be deleted because it is required for legally permissible purposes, its processing is restricted to those purposes.
7. Rights of the data subject
You have the right, under the GDPR (Art. 15 to 21), to: revoke consent at any time; be informed about the data we hold about you; request rectification; request deletion or restriction of processing; object to processing (including for direct marketing); receive your data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
8. Cookies
The website does not use tracking or advertising cookies. Only strictly necessary cookies or local storage (e.g. login state, stored user choices) are used to provide the services you request. Noshlog app data is stored locally on your device (local database) unless you explicitly use the account services.
9. Provision of the online service and web hosting
To deliver the website we process the visitor's IP address, which is necessary to transmit content to the visitor's device. Access is logged in server log files (requested resources, date and time, amount of data transferred, browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, and IP address). Log files are used for security purposes (e.g. against overload and attacks) and are kept for a maximum of 30 days, then deleted or anonymised; data needed for evidentiary purposes is excluded from deletion until the incident is resolved.
Web hosting provider: to be confirmed (see the note at the top of this page).
10. E-mail communication
We use e-mail for account-related messages only (e.g. confirmation, password reset, security notices). E-mail addresses and the content of messages are processed to handle the respective communication and to detect spam. We do not send newsletters.
E-mail delivery provider: to be confirmed.
11. Registration, login and user account
When you create an account we process the e-mail address and a password hash. In connection with the use of registration and login functions we store the IP address and time of the respective action, on the basis of our legitimate interests in protecting against misuse. This data is generally not passed on to third parties unless necessary to pursue claims or required by law.
12. Blogs and publication media
Readers' data is processed only to the extent necessary to provide and secure the blog. When you access a post, the IP address appears in the server log files described in section 9. The blog does not currently offer comments or other user-generated content.
13. Contact and enquiry management
When you contact us (e.g. by e-mail), we process the information you provide to handle the enquiry. This may include your e-mail address, name and the content of the message.
14. Modification and update
We may update this notice as processing changes. Please check back for the current version.

Controller: the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing.
